Check-in & Gate Management

Scanner and check-in at the gate

Use Gate Management (Scanner) in the event dashboard to check in attendees at the door using their pass (e.g. QR code).

Gate Management / Scanner

  • Where: Event dashboard → Gate Management (or Scanner).
  • What: A scanner interface (or link to the scanner app) that lets staff scan attendee passes (QR or barcode) to mark them as checked in.
  • How: Open the scanner on a phone or tablet, point at the attendee's pass (on their phone or printed), and scan. The system records the check-in and can show whether the pass is valid and whether it was already used (to prevent duplicate entry).

Who can scan

  • You can assign scanner access to specific users (e.g. staff or volunteers). They log in and use the scanner for your event. Configure scanner users from the Gate Management or event access settings so only trusted people can check in attendees.

Pass action responses

  • Where: Event dashboard → Pass Action Responses.
  • What: If you set up pass actions (e.g. a post-event survey or feedback form), responses from attendees appear here. You can review and export them.
  • Use it for: Collecting feedback, running surveys, or other actions you attach to the pass after the event.
